Abstract

This comparative analysis highlights the “diametrically opposed” approaches of the US and EU toward AI regulation. While the EU focuses on a human-centric model via the AI Act and GDPR, the US prioritizes business leadership through Executive Orders. The article proposes a new international body to monitor AI development and safeguard at-risk democratic principles.
