PROTECTING FREE SPEECH ONLINE – CHALLENGING THE STATUS QUO

As freedom of expression shifts to social media, this article challenges the current “transfer of power” from states to tech giants. It examines the risks of AI-driven censorship, the lack of due process in content moderation, and the danger of algorithmic “bias”. The author argues for a clearer regulation of cyberspace to prevent fundamental rights from being undermined by automated filters.
