Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of the legal mechanisms available to challenge illegal administrative acts in Romania. It examines the dual paths of administrative litigation—actions filed directly by injured citizens and those initiated by the Ombudsman institution. By evaluating triggering conditions, fiscal requirements, and procedural efficiency, the study highlights how these complementary mechanisms safeguard the rule of law and protect individuals from administrative overreach.
